Overview
The 27th edition of the Bielefeld Literature Days took place in May and June 2025 at the City Library, once again gathering over 1,000 visitors. High-caliber authors, musical accompaniment, and intimate event formats characterized the six-week season.
The Bielefeld Literature Days 2025 continued the tradition unbroken since 1996: ten to twelve readings over six weeks, musical accompaniment, discussions between authors and the audience, a mix of established voices and newcomers. The City Library at Neumarkt remained the central venue. The format has established itself as the most important literary season in Ostwestfalen.
