Edition 2025 — Biberach Film Festival
The 47th Biberach Film Festival took place over five days at the end of October 2025 at the Stadthalle Biberach. Feature films, debuts, TV films, and documentaries from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland competed for the Filmfest-Biber awards. The Golden Biber for Best Feature Film was also endowed with €8,000 in 2025.

In 2025, the festival once again presented a carefully curated selection of current German-language cinema. The six competition categories — from feature films to short films — ensured the breadth that has characterized the festival for years.
Discussions with directors, actors, and production teams after screenings have been a hallmark of the festival since 1979. The gala awards ceremony for the Filmfest-Biber marked the conclusion of a packed weekend of film in the Upper Swabian district town.
