Overview

The BMW IBU Biathlon World Cup Ruhpolding 2025 took place in January in the Chiemgau Arena – with the traditional competition program of relay, sprint, and pursuit for women and men, each in front of around 25,000 spectators.

As every year, the Biathlon World Cup Ruhpolding 2025 was one of the most-watched winter sports events in Germany. Six World Cup races for women and men were held in the Chiemgau Arena, featuring an international IBU field of competitors.

The event combined top sporting performance with a folk festival atmosphere in the town itself – hotels and guesthouses in and around Ruhpolding were fully booked, and the mountain lifts and cross-country ski trails around the town were heavily frequented in all weather conditions.
