In 2025, the St. Sebastianus Marksmen's Brotherhood Brenig hosted its annual marksmen's festival at its own grounds, featuring a festive mass, a parade through the village, and the crowning of the king.
In the run-up to the double anniversary in 2026, things were a bit quieter in Brenig in 2025 — but not without traditional character. Festive mass, parade, and king's shooting were part of the brotherhood's standard program, as every year. The marksmen's training evenings remained unchanged on Mondays and Fridays from 6 PM in the marksmen's house.
