112th Berliner Sechstagerennen — Full House at the Velodrom

In early February 2025, the 112th edition of the Berliner Sechstagerennen was held as a compact Sixdays Weekend. Over two competition evenings — Friday, January 31st, and Saturday, February 1st — twelve men's and twelve women's teams competed against each other in up to eight disciplines per evening: Madison, Sprint, Scratch, Points race, Elimination race, and Derny races with motor-paced riders. The Golden Night on Saturday was, as always, the most popular event — the Velodrom on Paul-Heyse-Straße in the Pankow/Prenzlauer Berg district was completely sold out. Live music during race breaks, light shows between races, and the extensive street food offerings completed the event's atmosphere. For the 112th edition, organizers Madison Sport Group announced further plans for an international track cycling series that would use the Berlin format as an anchor.
