Overview

The 22nd Bergwiesenfest Stützengrün took place on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at the Gasthaus Stollmühle. A nature market, traditional demonstrations such as butter churning, spinning, and scythe mowing, as well as regional music attracted families and nature lovers to the Westerzgebirge.

The 22nd Bergwiesenfest 2025 confirmed the successful concept: a modest but thematically clear folk festival that combines nature conservation, regional products, and tradition. The Landscape Conservation Association Westerzgebirge e.V. once again used the festival to inform about the preservation of species-rich mountain meadows — a task that is more urgent than ever in the Erzgebirge due to the abandonment of traditional farming practices. Citizens from the entire Erzgebirgskreis and the neighboring Vogtland region followed the invitation to the Stollmühle.
