Overview
The Bergparade Olbernhau 2025 took place on Saturday, December 6. The Saigerhüttenknappschaft and friendly miners', smelters', and guilds' associations marched through the town centre with torches – followed by a traditional mining concert.
In 2025, the Olbernhau Bergparade was once again part of the Erzgebirge mining parade season, which traditionally begins in Chemnitz in November and ends with the grand finale in Annaberg-Buchholz in December. The parade in Olbernhau, marked by the Saigerhütte tradition, has been a fixed event since 1999.
