The 12th edition of the Bergischer 6-Hour Run took place in June 2025 following the proven format: mass start at 10 a.m., six hours around the 3 km forest circuit at the Eschbachtalsperre reservoir in Remscheid, course measurement with calibrated wheels, and award ceremony in the late afternoon.

The regulations — prohibitions on poles, dogs, bicycles, and prams — were strictly enforced, as in previous years. The organizers Patrick Jeschak and Oliver Witzke of Feiner Lauf confirmed with the 2025 edition the character of the format as a serious, fairly organized ultra-run — setting the stage for the 13th anniversary in 2026.
