Overview

The 2025 Bergfest marked the start of the summer season in Oberschwaben from August 8 to 11. Four festival days on the Bergfestwiese with keg tapping on Friday (Berger Dorfmusikanten), Children's Festival and Rock Night with Midnight Special on Saturday, ecumenical church service and Frühschoppen with Bergatreute and Zogenweiler on Sunday, Berger Kulturwiese with Alpenblech-Brass-Band, Bergfestschießen and Feierabend Hock with Eschach and Bauernkapelle Oberschwaben on Monday.

Festival weekend 2025 on the Bergfestwiese

In 2025, the Musikverein Berg e.V. once again invited to the traditional Bergfest high above the Schussental valley. The event kicked off on Friday, August 8, 2025, with a reception in the Bürgersaal and the torchlight procession by the Bergfest-Trommler to the festival meadow. The Berger Dorfmusikanten (a ten-piece party band) filled the Friday evening.

Saturday (August 9) traditionally featured the Children's Festival with games and the youth band, followed by the Rock Night at 8:00 PM with Midnight Special, a fixture for over 20 years. Sunday (August 10) began at 9:00 AM with the ecumenical church service, followed by Frühschoppen concerts by the music bands Bergatreute and Zogenweiler. At 3:00 PM, the traditional Bergfestschießen took place, and at 7:00 PM, the Berger Kulturwiese hosted the Alpenblech-Brass-Band (free admission). The festival concluded on Monday (August 11) starting at 6:00 PM with the music bands Eschach and Bauernkapelle Oberschwaben during the Feierabend Hock, featuring sausage salad and draft beer.
