Overview

The Bensberger Herbstfest 2025 took place on September 20 and 21 during the ongoing construction work on Schlossstraße. Despite the construction site situation, IBH and XDREAM-Events organized the district festival along the accessible areas — with the classic program items: stalls, Reibekuchen, ice rink from the Eissportclub, tombola from the Lions Club, and Sunday shopping.

Herbstfest 2025 under construction conditions

The 2025 edition of the Bensberger Herbstfest took place on September 20 and 21 under difficult conditions: Schlossstraße was still a construction site as part of the NRW urban development funding. Nevertheless, the Bensberg Trade Association (IBH) and XDREAM-Events organized the festival along the accessible sections of Schlossstraße and in the adjacent areas.

The program included the usual elements: stalls from local businesses, food stalls with Bratwurst and Reibekuchen, the tombola of the Lions Club Bensberg for child protection, the ice rink of the Eissportclub, and IBH voucher sales. Sunday featured open shops. With the opening of the completed Schlossstraße scheduled for spring 2026, the Herbstfest 2026 was expected to take place again under normal conditions for the first time.
