1st Bavarian-Czech Beer Festival Rehau

Before the Premiere

In 2025, the Bavarian-Czech Beer Festival did not yet take place in Rehau. The project went through the application and approval phase within the INTERREG program Bavaria–Czech Republic 2021–2027 and the acquisition of participating breweries from Upper Franconia and West Bohemia beforehand. The premiere edition was scheduled for May 2026 on Maxplatz.

However, Rehau already has a lively festival culture with cultural days and a town festival, which the new beer festival will complement. With its premiere, Rehau joins the ranks of Upper Franconian brewery festivals and focuses on the German-Czech beer axis for the first time.
