The Italian-Bavarian Festival planned for Saturday, July 26, 2025, in the Schondorf lakeside grounds had to be cancelled at short notice by the municipality due to severe weather and storm warnings. The Italian-Bavarian Festival 2025 was planned for Saturday, July 26, in the Schondorf lakeside grounds. However, the municipality cancelled the event at short notice due to announced severe weather and storm warnings.

The planned program included a traditional costume dance by 'd'Kirchseer' at 3:00 PM, jousting at 3:30 PM, the Schondorf brass band at 5:30 PM, and Italian hits with Giorgio & Band starting at 7:00 PM. Guests from the partner town of Boves had announced Piedmontese specialties such as Minestrone and Arneis white wine. The cancellation was made for safety reasons shortly before the festival date.
