Edition 2025 — Brunsbüttel Farmers' Market — Kohltage
In 2025, Brunsbüttel once again hosted its farmers' market along the Schleusenmeile as part of the Dithmarscher Kohltage. Around a hundred stalls from regional producers, the Longest Cabbage Table in the World, cooking demonstrations, and lock tours — the central market of the Kohltage attracted thousands of visitors from across the Dithmarschen district.
The 2025 edition followed the established format: market opening in the morning, stage program with cooking demonstrations and live music, cabbage table along the canal promenade, special lock tours. Admission was free, as every year.
The Dithmarscher Kohltage 2025 ran for a week as usual, taking place in Marne, Heide, Meldorf, and Burg in addition to Brunsbüttel — the Brunsbüttel City Management coordinated the central market event.
