Edition 2025 — Baseball Rockt
The 2025 edition of Baseball Rockt again took place as part of the Verler Leben city festival. Three days of open-air rock on the Yaks stage, daytime baseball hands-on activities, free admission. The crossover format of sport and music attracted visitors from Verl, Gütersloh, and the surrounding East Westphalian area.
In September 2025, the Baseball Rockt series ran in its classic format. Live rock bands on the Yaks stage on all three festival evenings, throwing tunnel and batting cage as the sports component during the day, free admission throughout. Verl's city centre was, as every year at the beginning of September, completely taken over by the city festival.
The Gütersloh Yaks and SC Verl Baseball confirmed after the event that they plan to continue the format in 2026 — as an integral part of the Verler Leben city festival and as important youth recruitment for baseball in East Westphalia.
