Overview

The 2025 concert season at Rastatt Residential Palace opened with a spring concert. An ensemble from the South German baroque music scene presented works from the baroque concert tradition in the historic Hall of Ancestors, one of the most beautiful baroque rooms in Southern Germany.

In 2025, the State Palaces and Gardens of Baden-Württemberg also opened the concert season at Rastatt Residential Palace with a concert in the Hall of Ancestors. The performance of historical works in such an original late Baroque hall is an extraordinary experience – the hall's acoustics perfectly carry the instruments, and the visual experience, from the ceiling fresco and gilded stucco to the authentic furnishings, enhances the impact. Lovers of baroque sound worlds traveled from the Karlsruhe region, Baden-Baden, Strasbourg, and the entire Upper Rhine region. The concert once again confirmed the quality of the concert series as a fixture in the southern German classical music scene.
