Edition 2025 — Bandlift Festival
In 2025, the Bandlift Festival again ran for four days at the Gerstetten airfield — as Ostwürttemberg's largest free and open-air youth festival. As every year, the program included choir night, band night, beer mile, and youth day of brass music; around 3,000 visitors came to the Heidealb landscape to experience regional and national bands. The festival was again organized by Musikverein Harmonie Gerstetten e.V.
2025 Edition at the Airfield
The Bandlift Festival 2025 took place as usual in July at the Gerstetten airfield. For four festival days, the familiar program ran with choir night, band night, beer mile + band night, and youth day of brass music to conclude. Admission was free, and about 3,000 visitors gathered from the region.
The organizer was Musikverein Harmonie Gerstetten e.V., which has hosted the festival since 2015, offering young bands from the Swabian Jura and all of Baden-Württemberg a professional festival stage. The heath landscape of the Ostalb, the spacious festival meadow, and the family-friendly atmosphere made the 2025 edition a summer highlight in the district of Heidenheim.
