Overview
In 2025, the Bamberger Literaturfestival also ran from January to the end of April. Several dozen readings for adults and children attracted audiences from Upper Franconia and beyond. BamLit once again confirmed its status as Bamberg's largest reading festival and laid the groundwork for the major anniversary program in 2026 with 85 events.
The tenth edition of the Bamberger Literaturfestival took place from January to April 2025. Throughout the festival, readings, discussions, and children's events were offered in Bamberg and its surroundings.
Readings in the Konzerthalle, bookstores, and other venues reinforced the festival's reputation as a key event in the Upper Franconian literary scene and paved the way for the extensive 2026 program.
