Berlin Gets Its Own Ball

With the first edition in 2025, German Mother Dream and Everston from the House of Louboutin established a regular ball event in Berlin. The venue was the ufaFabrik in Tempelhof, whose theatre hall, with its well-proportioned stage and sightlines, is ideal for the typical ballroom format.

Significance for the Berlin Scene

This brought a format to Berlin that has long been established in Paris (Paris Ball Room) or the Netherlands: an annual major ball that enables collective identity building beyond smaller battles. The ball is primarily aimed at the queer BIPOC community but is open to allies.
