Edition 2025 — Seenachtfest Bad Waldsee
The Bad Waldsee Old Town and Lake Festival 2025 took place in early August and confirmed the atmospheric two-day format of a parade, flea market, dragon boat races, 4,000 floating lights, and grand fireworks. Tens of thousands of visitors from Upper Swabia, the Allgäu, and the Lake Constance region came to Bad Waldsee to experience one of Southern Germany's most scenic town festivals.
2025 — Proven Success
In 2025, the Lake Festival once again attracted thousands of visitors. The Saturday evening parade, the Sunday flea market, the dragon boat races, and especially the 4,000 floating lights and the grand fireworks made Sunday evening an unforgettable experience.
The town of Bad Waldsee and the Tourist Information have continuously developed the concept over the years — the light installation was optimized for safety in 2024/25, and the firework music has become more sophisticated. The spa town also uses the festival for tourism — many hotels are fully booked, and bus and day tourism from the entire Upper Swabian region benefits from this date.
