Overview
In 2025, the traditional Folk and Marksmen Festival in Bad Schwartau also took place on the first weekend of June. On the festival grounds at Ludwig-Jahn-Straße, amusement rides, a large festival tent, and the marksmen's hall were available — with the king's proclamation on Friday, shooting competitions and dance evening on Saturday, and the festival parade through the town on Sunday.
The 2025 festival was, as usual, organized by the Schwartau Marksmen's Guild v. 1923 e.V. together with the City of Bad Schwartau. Thousands of visitors from Bad Schwartau, Lübeck, and the Ostholstein district came to the festival grounds over the weekend.
The festival parade on Sunday afternoon, as in previous years, proceeded from the town hall through the city center to the festival grounds, featuring marching bands, marksmen's bands, and festively decorated floats from Bad Schwartau's clubs.
