Overview

The 16th edition of the Bad Homburg Poetry and Literature Festival ran from late May to mid-June 2025 with readings by major acting names on the classic festival stages of the spa town – Kurtheater, Schloss, Steigenberger, Spielbank.

The year before the 17th anniversary, the 2025 festival followed the established concept: prominent readers from film and theater, staged readings with live music, and carefully curated works of world literature. As every year, the festival made the venues themselves part of the staging – a hallmark that makes Bad Homburg unique in the German literary festival landscape.
