Overview

The Backofenfest 2025 at the Hohenlohe Open-Air Museum Wackershofen attracted thousands of visitors to the Schwäbisch Hall district at the end of September. Two days of Hohenlohe traditions with fresh Blooz, 80 stalls, a blacksmith, dance groups, and animal competitions.

Backofenfest 2025

The 2025 edition continued the decades-long tradition of the autumn festival at the Open-Air Museum. The historic ovens provided fresh Blooz and bread all day long, and the 80 stalls showcased Hohenlohe crafts and food products.

Traditional dance and music groups, animal competitions, and the Princess Gisela Theatre accompanied the program. On Sundays, Circus Compostelli also performed. Arrival by train (Wackershofen station right at the museum) eased the already limited parking situation.
