The Backofenfest Schondra 2025 was celebrated in mid-September. Around the 'Plootz' from the wood-fired oven, with a brass band and festival tent, the village community in the Rhön came together; the festival was linked to club anniversaries.
In 2025, the Backofenfest Schondra once again attracted numerous guests to the Rhön market town in mid-September. The traditional 'Plootz' was baked in the wood-fired oven, accompanied by food and drinks, live music, and festival tent activities.
As in previous years, the festival was linked to club anniversaries and supported by local associations – a vibrant example of the festival culture in the district of Bad Kissingen.
