Bachfest Karlshorst & Rummelsburg – Bach bewegt

The Bach Project 2025 continued the work of the association Bach bewegt e.V. in Karlshorst and Rummelsburg. Concerts, workshops, and chamber music programmes presented works by Johann Sebastian Bach within a contemporary Berlin neighbourhood context. This project prepared the growing resonance for the multi-day second festival edition in 2026.

The main venue remained the church 'Zur frohen Botschaft' with its historic Amalien organ. As in 2024, it became clear that Bach finds an audience in Berlin's East that goes beyond the classical concert hall paths – an important confirmation for the growing concept of the festival.
