Edition 2025 — Bach Festival Arnstadt
The 20th edition of the Bach Festival Arnstadt took place in 2025 as a jubilee edition, bringing around 4,000 visitors to more than 40 events at the original locations of the Bach family. International ensembles such as Solomon's Knot, Vox Luminis, and Angela Hewitt shaped the programme — with the established Pay-what-you-can model and the Bach Church experience at its centre.
Previous Edition 2025 — 20th Anniversary
The 20th edition celebrated two decades of the Bach Festival in Thuringia's oldest Bach town. Around 40 events were spread over more than three weeks — concerts in the Bach Church, chamber music in the Bach House, organ tours, and exhibitions. As part of the Thuringian Bach Weeks, internationally renowned ensembles performed in Arnstadt. The Pay-what-you-can model once again proved to be a central pillar of the festival in this anniversary year.
