In 2025, Augsburg celebrated the 375th anniversary of the High Peace Festival. Around Peace Day on August 8, 2025, an expanded multi-week cultural program with over 60 events, ecumenical services, the Peace Table on Rathausplatz, and the Children's Peace Festival took place.
In 2025, the 375th Augsburg High Peace Festival was marked by a round anniversary: the festival has been celebrated since 1650. For the anniversary year, the multi-week program was expanded.
As every year, Peace Day on August 8th with an ecumenical service and peace messages, the Peace Table on Rathausplatz, and the Children's Peace Festival formed the highlights — embedded in over 60 cultural events throughout the city.
