Overview

The Aufseß Kirchweih 2025 once again attracted numerous beer lovers from all over Franconia and beyond to the world record brewery village in Franconian Switzerland. Five days of festivities around the 3rd Sunday in September with catering in all four Aufseß breweries and their beer gardens.

Aufseß Kerwa 2025

In 2025, the Franconian beer community gathered again in the small village of Aufseß for the annual Kirchweih. The four Aufseß breweries — Aufsesser Bräu, Ketschauer Hof, Penning-Zeißler, and Stadter — served their guests with their full range of brewery diversity. Brass bands from the region provided musical accompaniment, and Franconian inn cuisine was on the menu: Schäuferla, Pressack, Bratwurst, Krautsalat, and seasonal specialties.

The Aufseß Kerwa has become one of the most popular beer events in the Franconian September calendar — a five-day celebration of the unique brewery richness of this village of 1,300 inhabitants. Once you've been here, you'll come back.
