Auer Raachermannelmarkt 2025

In 2025, the Auer Raachermannelmarkt once again attracted thousands of visitors to the city center of Aue-Bad Schlema on the 1st Advent weekend. The choreography of the lighting ceremony, pyramid lighting, and Grand Miners' Parade proved successful again — especially the Miners' Parade on Sunday evening, where 500 habit-bearers marched onto the narrow Altmarkt in the glow of hundreds of candles, is considered one of the most densely packed and atmospheric miner parade moments in the entire Erzgebirge. The Erzgebirgsensemble, brass ensembles, and smoker figure exhibitors made the market a tribute to the folk art of the Erzgebirge.
