Attack on Groß Raden — Castle Siege

In July 2025, the Groß Raden Archaeological Open-Air Museum once again transformed into a stage for early medieval combat demonstrations. Reenactment groups staged the attack on the Slavic castle rampart between 11 am and 4 pm with shield walls, archers, and spear formations.

As usual, weapon presentations, craft demos, and short lectures on the Slavic period rounded off the family day. Admission: Regular museum admission of €3.50 for adults, €2 concessions, €7 family ticket.
