Overview

In April 2025, the ATOS Heidelberg Half Marathon also took place on the usual 21.1 km course through the Old Town, across the Old Bridge, and the Philosophenweg. Thousands of runners came from all over Germany and Europe to experience the unique course through Heidelberg's postcard setting. Accompanying runs — Henkel Team Run and DGZ Bambini Run — made the event, as always, a city sports festival for the whole family.

2025 Edition

In April 2025, the ATOS Heidelberg Half Marathon edition took place as usual on a Sunday — start at 9:15 AM on Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage, finish at Universitätsplatz. The 21.1-kilometer course led through the historic Old Town, across the Old Bridge, along the Neckar riverbank, and over the magnificently scenic Philosophenweg.

As every year, the run brought thousands of athletes together from Heidelberg, the Rhein-Neckar region, and all of Germany. The accompanying runs, Henkel Team Run (3.1 km) and DGZ Bambini Run (1,200 m), turned race day into a family event. The organizer remained TSG 78 Heidelberg, which has been hosting the event since the 1990s.
