Overview
The AStA Sommerfestival 2025 took place as usual in June on the University Paderborn campus. Several thousand students and music fans experienced an all-day festival marathon with German-language pop, hip-hop, and indie – sold out and with the typical, exuberant campus vibe between the cafeteria, lecture halls, and festival meadows.
The 2025 edition confirmed the AStA Sommerfestival's position as one of the largest campus festivals in Germany. On Warburger Straße, numerous acts from the German-language pop, indie, and rap scenes performed; stage areas, food courts, and chill-out zones were spread across several hectares of the university campus.
The high demand again led to a quick sell-out of early bird contingents and underscores the festival's appeal beyond the Paderborn district, reaching Bielefeld, Münster, and the Ruhr area.
