Overview

The 45th Aschaffenburger Gitarrentage in 2025 continued the tradition as one of Germany's oldest guitar festivals. The Aschaffenburg City Cultural Office presented concerts from classical, jazz, and world music in the city's concert halls, as well as a student concert from the municipal music school. In 2025, the festival also ran in cooperation with the European Guitar Teacher Association (EGTA).

2025 Season – 45th Edition

The 45th Aschaffenburger Gitarrentage in 2025 maintained the profile developed over decades: classical guitar as the foundation, complemented by jazz, crossover, and world music. As usual, the venues were the Stadttheater and other concert halls in the city.

This edition also featured the cooperation with the European Guitar Teacher Association (EGTA), which has been using the festival as a partner event for its international member community since 2023. The sponsors – as in 2026 – were Raiffeisen-Volksbank Aschaffenburg and the District of Lower Franconia.
