Edition 2025 — Festival of the Arts
The 1st Arnstadt Festival of the Arts took place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 4:00 PM to midnight in the Prinzenhof and the adjacent church garden of the Liebfrauenkirche. The program included two poetry slam sessions, the Ton Kollektiv with jazz and pop interpretations, Benni Cellini with electric cello and loop station, as well as a literature and interactive program by the City and District Library. Admission was free.
The premiere brought together a diverse program on a summer evening in Arnstadt's historic city center. The atmosphere in the Prinzenhof, a hidden courtyard in the old town, and in the neighboring church garden of the Liebfrauenkirche attracted visitors from Arnstadt and the Ilm district. The event was a success and led to the announcement of the 2nd edition in 2026 — proof that even a small town like Arnstadt can present its cultural diversity in atmospheric formats.
