Edition 2025 — Archäotechnica
Archäotechnica 2025 focused on a different theme from the broad spectrum of “from hand axe to car, from animal hide to crinoline”. As every year, the annual hands-on festival at the Brandenburg State Archaeological Museum in the Paulikloster offered hands-on stations, invited practitioners and scientists, and a diverse demonstration program. Admission is charged.
Archäotechnica 2025 in Retrospect
In 2025, the grounds of the Brandenburg State Archaeological Museum at the Paulikloster were once again transformed into a living craftsmanship laboratory over an August weekend. Invited practitioners and scientists demonstrated historical techniques from various eras, and hands-on stations invited visitors to participate.
Over the years, the format has established itself as one of the best hands-on festivals in Brandenburg's museum landscape. Annually changing focus themes keep the festival current and attractive for repeat visitors. In 2026, the focus theme will be “Fashion Through the Ages”.
