AQUAnostra Water Week — Edition 2025

In June, the AQUAnostra Water Week 2025 transformed Bad Doberan and the Baltic Sea resort of Heiligendamm into a nine-day cultural festival dedicated to the element of water. As every year, the event was organized by Doberan associations, partners, and the city of Bad Doberan.

Concerts in churches and spa houses, exhibitions, film evenings, theatre, author readings, and guided tours explored the water landscape between Klostersee lake, the Cistercian mill, and the Baltic Sea promenade. The program celebrated water as a healing agent, natural resource, tourism factor, and artistic inspiration, reinforcing Bad Doberan's cultural identity rooted in its water heritage.
