No Antaris festival took place in 2025. Following the death of founder Uwe Siebert in March 2025, the team took a pause — described as 'not a farewell, but a necessary pause to create space for processing, realignment, and inspiration.' The Antaris website was dedicated to commemorating Siebert and his mission 'For Friendship, Peace, and Freedom.'

The 2025 Antaris story is one of a pause for a profound reason: In March 2025, founder Uwe Siebert passed away. He had shaped the festival since 1993 and was preparing 2026 as his final Antaris. The team decided not to hold an edition in the summer of 2025, using the pause as a tribute and a space for reflection. The official festival website remained dedicated to the memory of Siebert, with his mission 'For Friendship, Peace, and Freedom' as the guiding principle. The international Psytrance community responded with numerous solidarity actions and tributes. With the announced 2026 comeback edition as the 'last gathering,' the festival embarks on the path back to the Gollenberg — driven by the same vision, under a changed organizational structure, and with the awareness of closing a chapter.
