Overview

The Annabergfest 2025 ran from July 19 to 27 on the Annaberg in Sulzbach-Rosenberg under the festival week motto “Pilgrims of Hope”. Father Alfred Lindner opened the event on July 19. The grand Pontifical Mass with Auxiliary Bishop Reinhard Pappenberger on Sunday, July 27, marked the festive conclusion. Catering by Sperber-Bräu and three other regional breweries.

Looking Back at 2025

The 2025 festival week took place from July 19 to 27. It was opened by Father Alfred Lindner and concluded on Sunday, July 27 with the Pontifical Mass presided over by Auxiliary Bishop Reinhard Pappenberger. The motto “Pilgrims of Hope” thematically referenced the Holy Year.

Program

Family Masses on Sunday, July 20; themed days for women, seniors, and children during the week; ecumenical service on Friday, July 25; youth service and festival conclusion on St. Anne's Day. The festival caterers – especially Sperber-Bräu – served continuously and offered regional specialties.
