Overview

The Amplifire Festival had no edition in 2025 – the festival is a newcomer to the Hamburg festival calendar and celebrates its premiere on August 7th and 8th, 2026, at MS Artville in Wilhelmsburg. In 2025, only the established MS Dockville Festival took place at MS Artville and in the broader Hamburg festival landscape, alongside Wutzrock, Reeperbahn Festival, and other classics.

There was no Amplifire Festival in 2025. The event series is new to the Hamburg festival calendar in 2026 and celebrates its premiere with the first edition on August 7–8, 2026.

The chosen venue, MS Artville at Alte Schleuse 23 in Wilhelmsburg, was used in 2025 (as every year) for the concurrently running MS Dockville Festival and for art programs year-round. The idea to additionally use the venue for a Rock/Punk/Post-Hardcore festival one week before MS Dockville emerged during 2025 and was made public with the booking of the four international headliners Biffy Clyro, Bad Religion, Frank Turner, and Turbostaat.
