Edition 2025 — Hexennacht Amberg

The 29th Amberger Hexennacht 2025 took place on Schmotziger Donnerstag, February 27. Thousands of costumed guests filled the market square, the CSU witches paraded through the old town shops, and a DJ and live band provided the atmosphere until 11 PM. This set the stage for the 30th anniversary in 2026.

The 2025 Hexennacht continued the established format: during the day, a witch parade through the business district with Florian Gröninger, from 5:30 PM a children's witch dance with Tanzschule Seidl, at 6 PM the opening by Mayor Cerny, followed by a DJ and live band until 11 PM.

As in previous years, thousands of costumed carnival fans celebrated peacefully in the market square. The police reported only isolated incidents the following day. With the success of the format, preparations for the 2026 anniversary program were already underway in 2025.
