The 7th edition of the Bautzen Old Town Festival 2025 took place in late August in the old town. 10 venues, light installations, concerts, interactive art — the unique festival concept once again shaped the Bautzen summer weekend.
2025 Preview Edition
The 7th edition solidified the Old Town Festival's reputation as a distinctive city staging. Light installations, live music, interactive art, and the 10-venue structure allowed visitors an intensive city walk. Artists from Saxony, Poland, and the Czech Republic participated; the Sorbian language and culture were integrated into parts of the program. The festival confirms itself year after year as one of the most distinctive dates in the Saxon festival calendar.
