The 47th Altstadtfest Sulzbach-Rosenberg took place from June 27 to 29, 2025, in the old town. Seven stages with live music (folk music, rock, R&B, country, trash metal core), the medieval camp of the Stiber-Fähnlein on the Schanze with blacksmith, rope maker, torch maker, and basket weaver, a city run on Saturday morning, children's and family program, as well as Upper Palatinate specialties and Sperber-Bräu beer characterized the festival weekend.

47th Altstadtfest 2025

The 2025 edition ran from June 27 to 29 and was, as every year, the highlight of the Sulzbach-Rosenberg summer calendar. The town, local clubs, restaurants, kindergartens, and musicians created the program.

Program 2025

On the seven stages, traditional folk music, rock, country, rhythm & blues, and trash metal core alternated. The historical group Stiber-Fähnlein set up its medieval camp on the Schanze and demonstrated blacksmithing, rope making, torch making, and basket weaving. Saturday morning started with the traditional city run, followed by all-day festival activities with a children's program, club stands, and Sperber-Bräu festival beer.
