Overview

The Altstadtfest Strausberg 2025 was celebrated on October 3, 2025, in the historic old town. The market stage featured, among others, the band Stamping Feet, which includes the sons of GDR rock musicians Dieter Hertrampf (Puhdys) and Jäcki Reznicek. As every year, the festival concluded with the Herbstfanfare by the Fanfarenzug Strausberg in the Energie-Arena, preceded by a parade from Lindenplatz and a crowning fireworks display.

The Altstadtfest Strausberg 2025 was celebrated on October 3, 2025 – German Unity Day. The city administration and its partners invited visitors to the Market Square and the historic old town. The market stage offered a full day of live music and entertainment, prominently featuring the band Stamping Feet, whose members are sons of well-known GDR rock musicians – Sven Hertrampf (son of Puhdys guitarist Dieter Hertrampf) and Basti Reznicek (son of bassist Jäcki Reznicek).

As every year, the festival concluded with the Herbstfanfare by the Fanfarenzug Strausberg in the Energie-Arena. Before the performance, a parade formed at Lindenplatz and marched with musical accompaniment through the old town to the arena. Inside, guest marching bands from several German cities performed, complemented by the Fanfarenzug's show orchestra and youth guard. The traditional fireworks display at 8 PM marked the end of a full day of festivities, which has been the hallmark of Strausberg's city festival for over 20 years.
