Overview
The Midsummer Night and the Old Town Festival took place in 2025, as usual, at the end of June in Xanten's city center. Mediterranean summer night on Friday with shops open until 11 PM, live music in several streets, light installations — and the Old Town Market on the weekend on Klever Straße. One of the most atmospheric city festivals on the Lower Rhine.
2025 Edition
The 2025 edition, as usual, attracted thousands of visitors to Xanten's old town, especially for the Midsummer Night on Friday evening. The IGX once again staged the Mediterranean summer evening with tables in the squares, live music, and a light installation on Marsstraße.
Saturday and Sunday featured the classic Old Town Market — crafts, design products, and regional specialties on Klever Straße — as well as the Sunday shopping event.
