Overview
The Altstadtfest Hessisch Lichtenau did not take place in 2025 for organizational reasons. The city and its tourism office worked on a re-conception of the festival, which will return in 2026 for the Corpus Christi weekend. The break was used for modernizing the concept and clarifying association structures.
No Altstadtfest took place in 2025. Instead, work was done on a new concept, which will be implemented with the 2026 edition. The city of Hessisch Lichtenau has officially announced the comeback.
