Overview

The 45th edition of the Altstadtfest Hersbruck took place from August 1 to 3, 2025, throughout the entire old town. The opening was on Friday at 7 p.m. with the beer tapping ceremony at the Oberer Markt and the Hersbrucker Stadtmusik. For three days, stages, catering, Frühschoppen, and the donkey race filled the historic courtyards and alleys.

In 2025, Hersbruck celebrated the 45th edition of its Altstadtfest. Bands like Aeroplane, HALLY GALLY, The Old Monkey, and Kuhseng'n played on five stages from Friday to Sunday. Sunday began with the ecumenical church service at the Oberer Markt with a brass choir and the subsequent Frühschoppen.

The donkey race on Sunday afternoon took place at the GeruPlast Sportpark; admission opened at 12 p.m., and the race ran from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The first chairman was Roland Winkler, and Mayor Robert Ilg and District Administrator Armin Kroder were among the guests of honor.
