Overview
The 30th Altstadtfest Erlangen was celebrated at the end of July and beginning of August 2025 at Altstädter Kirchenplatz. Four days of music, food, and a packed performance schedule with bands from Erlangen, Nuremberg, and the region captivated the city. The anniversary underscored the festival's firm place in Erlangen's summer calendar.
In 2025, the Altstadtfest celebrated its 30th anniversary. As every year, the Altstädter Kirchenplatz transformed into an open music stage with four days of live programming. Soul, Funk, Reggae, Rock, Pop, Jazz, and Latin American music were part of the regular repertoire.
The Musikinstitut Taktstelle also curated the program slot for young musicians in 2025 — a practice that distinguishes the festival and combines youth promotion with a major stage.
