The 41st edition of the Altstadtfest took place in 2025, traditionally on the last weekend of July on Bad Staffelstein's market square. Three days of medieval festival with craftsmen, music, a parade, and a fire show once again attracted thousands of visitors to the Adam Ries town.

In 2025, Bad Staffelstein's market square once again transformed into a medieval world. Three days of festivities with craftsmen, musicians, camp followers, and camp life, complemented by open-air concerts on several stages, the Adam Ries Night Run on Friday, and the parade in front of the town hall on Saturday. On Sunday evening, a fire show concluded the festival weekend. The town band, the medieval association, and other local players contributed to the festival organization on a voluntary basis, as they do every year.
