Edition 2025 — Altöttinger Kirta
The 50th Altöttinger Kirta was held in 2025 as a jubilee edition from September 27th to October 5th at the Dultplatz. Kirta procession on Saturday, 27.09. at 2 PM with festively decorated horse-drawn carriages, followed by the traditional beer tapping in the Kirtastadl with Hell-Bräu festival beer. Nine days of Upper Bavarian autumn folk festival with festival tent, wine tavern, amusement rides, and delicacies.
50th Altöttinger Kirta 2025 – Jubilee Edition
The 50th edition ran from September 27th to October 5th, 2025, at the Dultplatz. As a jubilee year, the Kirta was honored with a special program tracing the history of the autumn folk festival since the late 20th century.
2025 Program
Opening procession on Saturday at 2 PM with horse-drawn carriages, brass music, and traditional costume groups, followed by "O'zapft is!" in the Kirtastadl. Changing live programs in the festival tent, Franconian wines in the Altöttinger Weinlaube, Ferris wheel and amusement rides at the Dultplatz, family days with discounts. Hell-Bräu festival beer as the festival drink and Upper Bavarian delicacies in all catering areas.
