Altmain-Weinfest Sand am Main

The 2025 edition ran in the established format. Franconian wine exclusively from Sand winemakers, a live program with established bands, Franconian cuisine, and the unmistakable Sander Käskuchen — all made the festival grounds on the Untermain one of the most attractive wine festival locations in Unterfranken.

For over three decades, the Altmain-Weinfest has proven that a consistently focused wine festival concept works. Instead of a broad cross-section of the Franconian wine world, Sand concentrates on its own vineyard sites — and the audience rewards this with loyal repeat visits and positive feedback on the quality of Sand wines.
