Overview
The Altendorfer Kirchweih 2025 took place from August 29 to September 1 at the traditional festival grounds. Four days of beer tapping, Kirchweih tree, festive church service, and Scheuna party characterized the Kerwa in the southern Bamberg district.
The 2025 edition of the Altendorfer Kerwa followed its usual pattern: beer tapping on Friday evening with an subsequent Scheuna party, Kirchweih tree raising on Saturday, festive church service and morning pint on Sunday, and a family program and festival conclusion on Monday.
The festival caterer served freshly fried carp from the Aischgrund and Franconian specialties throughout the four days. Live music from regional bands and DJ sets in the Scheuna provided entertainment until late at night.
